Bormes-les-Mimosas

Sunny Sundays call for a day trip near the sea. Plage de Saint-Clair was our first stop. A beautiful sandy beach, with clear blue waters!!! It was very calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxing sunbath...

“Follow the yellow Mimosa trees and you will find the village”.

Well, the village was found, but there was no sign of the gorgeous Mimosa trees, I guess we were a few weeks too late. The famous Mimosas generally bloom between January and March. They are a symbol of magnificence, elegance and tenderness. Bormes-les-Mimosas lays 154 meters above sea level and it has been listed among the most beautiful sites in the Var. It is a captivating place with coloured Provençal houses, squares, art galleries and lots of restaurants.

A must visit destination!!!
