Haven ended up being our favourite brunch spot in town. In the heart of Annecy, in a quiet, pedestrian area, it is the perfect place to visit and start your day. Great coffee, together with: Smashed avocados on sourdough bread and roasted potatoes, Eggs on toast served scrambled on fried sourdough bread, Wild Blueberry Pancake, buckwheat pancakes, wild blueberry compote, vanilla cream and mascarpone cream, chocolate buckwheat crumble… Finally, the MOST AMAZING, moist, three-layered carrot cake!!!
Located in the heart of Annecy, this amazing bistort will not disappoint you. Casually decorated, with a post-war looking bar and such a friendly staff. It serves authentic French flavors in small – multiple plates and makes you keep on ordering; you want to taste everything. Our favourite dishes were: Bone marrow, Foie gras on top of a cabbage meatball, Leek-Vinaigrette, Fromage de Marc Dubouloz, Saint-Honoré with Vanilla from Madagascar, puff pastry with Poitou-Charentes butter, caramelized vanilla, double cream, pastry cream and vanilla ganache.
Now, that is what I call a great BAR! Almost hidden in a narrow street, not easy to spot. Dark, relaxing and majestic atmosphere. The bar is industrial looking and the cocktails are amazing! You may choose from classic ones, to signature made ones, but you have the chance to express your own personal tastes and the bartender will custom one cocktail just for you! Cheers!
We found Le Hibou Blanc in the heart of Megève, it is a cosy, warm and relaxing restaurant. We had to taste the best «Fondue de Megève 2018 »!! We also tasted an amazing beef tartare with French fries together with a glass of pinot noir and the most delicious and drunken crêpe suzette! The homemade lemonade was a great surprise!
